While most high level players know this the new guys wont know this.
To level your defense like any skill you must use it, so every time an enemy hits you it levels up a little.
Now when the game started out you could just let enemies endlessly beat on you and it would all be good. Now tho you have to work for it
After three hits the xp stops collecting until you attack once.
Tge best way to do this is to let a foe attack you tgree times hit it once and cancel the attack then repeat.
Its tedious and boring but worth it.
